Four new car parking spaces

As part of the external works, we completed the construction of four new car parking spaces, including full ground preparation, tarmac surfacing and final line marking.

The designated areas were cleared and excavated to the required depth. A compacted Type 1 MOT sub-base was installed to provide a strong and stable foundation. The surface was treated with K-140 bitumen emulsion bonding coat before the tarmac build-up was installed: 60mm of 20mm base binder course, followed by 40mm of 10mm DBM surface course. The new parking bays were then clearly defined using durable white line marking.

Soakaway Installation & Rainwater Drainage Works

We completed the installation of four new soakaway systems, with one soakaway positioned adjacent to each entrance serving the newly constructed flats.



Each soakaway was formed using a 1m x 1m x 1m soakaway crate system, wrapped in non-woven geotextile membrane to prevent silt ingress and maintain long-term drainage performance. The systems were backfilled with shingle and carefully compacted in layers.

New 110mm uPVC underground drainage pipework was installed from each downpipe to its corresponding soakaway, including the necessary bends, connectors and rodding access points. Modifications to the existing rainwater downpipes were also completed to ensure proper alignment and a neat external finish.
